My heading is a wee bit funny lol....
I am going back to Belfast from the UK in 7 weeks and I am trying to find information about taking a dog [ small poodle 2yrs old ] with me. I'm just looking for more info. Dog is allready Microchipped and i will be using FlyBe from Exeter to Belfast City Airport. So does FlyBe allow dogs either in the hold or on the plane. Also will i need a pet passport?? Any anyone have a rough idea off the cost involved.
cheers

Suggest that you contact the airline directly to check.0 -
"Animals
Assistance dogs: Taking your assistance dog on international flights
We are working towards obtaining approval to carry recognised assistance dogs on all of our international flights. We can currently accept assistance dogs on international routes from the following airports:- Birmingham
- Exeter
- Manchester
- Newcastle
- Southampton
Other dogs and cats
Flybe restricts the carriage of all other cats and dogs as cargo only, both accompanied and unaccompanied. The animals will be carried in the holds of the aircraft. For further information please contact Globe Air Cargo on +44 (0) 2087 574776"
Above info about pets/assistant dogs for Flybe from their website. So, if its a normal pet dog, it will have to go into the hold of the aircraft in an acceptable pet carrier.0 -

You will not need a pet passport as the dog will not be leaving the Common Travel Area.0 -

Nothing at all. Animal is travelling within the country.0 -
Just spoke with Flybe Cargo and if you live in the west country you can only take your dog via
certain airports. The ones that are ok are Southampton/East Midlands/Gatwick. Exeter/Cardiff/Bristol
don't take Dogs. The price is around £200 one way. So looks like Mum's dog will be revisiting the kennels again lol....0
