LG Optimus Black P970

I'm planning on purchasing a new LG Optimus Black P970 as it was my birthday last week so my Dad's offered to pay for some of it :j

Anyone spotted any good deals or know when this phone is coming out on O2 for example? The best i could get so far is 18 months on T Mobile for £30 per month which gets me 300 minutes, unlimited texts, email and internet. I know its out on Orange but their deals don't seem to measure up, do you reckon i could haggle with them to get it down a bit by saying i'll go to a competitor?

Orange and T-Mobile aren't really in competition with each other, so I don't think that'll help.

Might be worth weighing up the option of buying one SIM free (or PAYG) and getting the cheapest suitable SIM only deal?

Was thinking about doing that but they run at between £380 and £450 and then it will be at least £20 per month on the top because its designed for internet and if i don't have that included in my SIM it will cost a fortune with me using it.

If i get a contract for 18 months it comes to about £545 ish overall, but lets say £380 (PAYG) plus £20 for 18 months is a lot more so i think a contract is a better deal overall.

Between £390 and £450? You could get an Optimus 2X for less than that instead... pricing fail.

You're wrong about the SIM only deal price though, you can get internet tariffs for a tenner. (Mine is 250mins, ult. texts and ult. web for £10)

It only came out a week ago so i think thats why its so highly priced right now. What network are you on? Thanks
