the company have sent it pasted in email so will have a look at all comments & use one at an other time

If you have a gmail account, you can email it to that and open it in gdocs.

Just stick to doc, don't bother with odt. Pretty much every man and his dog can read doc files.

Or .rtf would be better, every WP program will open those files.
