O2 1/2 price line rental - anyone still getting this?

Many moons ago O2 offered 1/2 price line rental or double minutes for life.
The advert stated "Not for the life of the contract but for the life you remain an O2 customer".
So on this promise I committed to O2. I also got my OH to sign up for this as well.
Year on year it has been increasing difficult to get them to honour this promise. Infact my OH gave up last year and cancelled his mobile phone contract.
Each year at renewal I have to go through the same long drawn out complaints procedure.
Last time I had to commit to an 18mth contract and ended up on BBC2 programme Working Lunch as new mobile phone regulations had come into force.
So I want to know if there is anyone else out there, who like me still gets their line rental 1/2 price.:p
