It is fantastic! It is my 3rd one – my old one does the garage – the current one the house. [One is dead].I have a Dyson, a Henry and a Roomba robotic vacuums so am fairly well placed to pass judgement on the differences between each. I also have hard floors throughout my house. If you have carpets then forget robot cleaners - they don't work well as they tend to sweep rather than suck dirt into the collector.
However if you have wooden floors then robot cleaners are fantastic IF you spend a bit on them.I have an iRobot Roomba and have used it for years. It is great but you have to have a tidy home as it doesnt like clutter on the floor or wires that it can get caught on.
Some mixed opinions of the Roomba. With solid floors throughout, I'm tempted to get one. Does the rechargeable battery last long before it needs replacing, and are they generally reliable?
And which model to go for?0 -
Hi - the Roomba cleans carpet and solid floors really welll. We use ours every day in the kitchen, and twice a week on the carpets. Battery lasts for well over an hour of cleaning.0

I think mine is 510 - the battery has lasted two years and still going strong. replacements are available from Ebay quite cheaply when it does finally give up the ghost.Tesco is my second home:j0 -

Hi. I too have had a bad experience and now £209 out of pocket. The samba arrived but was faulty. It cost me £30 to return. I have asked for my money back but the company and groupon are ignoring me. I have sent dozens of emails regarding this. I am not sure who I can go to now for help so advice would be welcome.

Hi All,
We got one through the groupon dean. Was working really well and was quite impressed. Then one of the wheels failed. I contacted the distributor and they sent through a new unit within two weeks. Again, very impressed. Unfortunately the new unit failed within about 5mins. Sent another mail to the distributor, but haven't heard anything back after 3 weeks now.
Will have to start action to get a replacement/refund. If anyone else has had any luck with this I'd be interested to know.
Cheers0
