Yeah, I know, I use Media Monkey. But I guess there's no alternative to iTunes if you've got an iPhone or iPad...

You can't even power on an iPhone without iTunes.

    Sucks !!!.

If it weren't for iTunes, the iPhone would be way more successful - wonder when Jobs will realise that...

iphone 5 'might' have a curved screen apparently

    more here http://www.reghardware.com/2011/05/23/iphone_5_curved_glass_screen/

but no, I wont be buying one, well not until my current contract runs out early next year at least ;)

I find the curved screen rumor a curious one. I wonder what the advantages would be? I definitely wouldn't mind a slightly larger display.

Unless there is something ground breaking, I'll probably wait for iPhone 6.

With respect, how the heck should anyone know if they are going to buy a machine whose specifications and price haven't been announced? Should we all say 'yes, hang the cost and who cares if it works'?

Are you going to buy the next house? You know nothing of its size, location or price, but will you buy it? You'd be mental if you said you would. Likewise would you pay any price for an any spec TV? Of course not.

I hope when it does come out Im early shift at work. We have access to cctv cameras and honestly youll not see many funnier sights in the town than the q's at the Apple shop when theres a new product coming out.

We had the pleasure of watching the launch of the ipad.... classic. A Q right round the block all clutching their iphones and ipods. Just as the shop opened the staff came running round the corner and ran along high fiving the q then made a 'guard of honour' up the stairs and applauded them all as they went in.

Then they came out proudly clutching the prized ipad holding it high above their heads like a trophy (no seriously they did) to the applause of the waiting q's

It was like something off a comedy show... roll on the iphone 5 :rotfl:

Please take your holy war about apple products to this thread and leave the rest of us in peace.

To answer the OP, no I won't be buying an iphone or similar until the costs significantly reduce.

    I feel better now.
