i would take the drive out and strip it down first
you may find its fixable0 -
All you have done is pull the tray out of sync (our youngest did the same to his), quite easy to fix but involves stripping the drive itself down so you will void any warranty if you choose to do it yourself.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0

If your get are getting your xbox fixed by anybody other than xbox be careful, we had a new disc drive put in my sons at christmas and on friday xbox live did some updates and now his console is banned and this cannot be lifted0

thats pretty much the norm for modding the console0
