I have not spent anything today, yay! went round to a friend's for sunday dinner, so didn't spend anything and i've not been anywhere else so yay. £25 this week seems slightly more do-able somehow!

I spent £18 in Tesco!!! Hardly bought anything but my cat's food is expensive and I bought two weeks' worth. ANd i bought some wine

Budget for week coming is £20 general 'spends' and £20 on my piano lesson. I'm going to a concert on Friday night so will have to save up a bit for drinks there. I'm guessing they won;t be cheap. Picked up a free Tesco mag today so I have sopmething nice to read.

My WORD Moozie. 7.00am on a Sunday?

No amount of toast & tea would placate me being woken up at that time even if I did have to pack.....oooh I'm a nasty piece of work if I don't get my weekend lie ins. ;)

me too lookingahead!!! 7am on a Sunday???? don't even think about it

good luck by the way (you said to wish you luck!!)
  • Sunday to Friday was £91.82. To be fair, I cheated a bit as my target was supposed to be Sunday to Saturday and if I include Saturday I was over, but hey.

Next week I'll be looking to do £95 again (tops) - lots of Christmas related stuff in the pipeline which will make things a bit tight.

    Best of luck all.

Have spent loads today but from food and Christmas budgets so not worrying too much. No unplanned spending.

I'd like to join in the challenge this week please - £20 for day to day spends.

I've spent nothing today, and spent the day being nice to myself. All life's free luxuries - a lie in, homemade food, hot bath!

this week im going to have to tackle christmas :( Outwith christmas, Im planning to keep it under £20.
  • Hallo Moozie and everyone:D

After reading this thread for a few weeks I have decided it's something I need to join in with if I may

So I think I will say 20 pounds this week.

I have had a no spend day today:j

I've been racking my brains t think but there was somewhere I went that had loads of little cars on cheap but I really can't remeber-sorry that is absolutely no help but it's annoying me! lol, check tesco's and if you have a £1 shop check them.
I thought you must live in the north east cos of "the wacky warehouse!" we sometimes go there!.

Ah...great detective skills :) Wouldn't have even occurred to me that Wacky Warehouses may be a northern phenomenon.

Never thought of Tesco's (duh!) but think we are going to be near one next Saturday so will try there. Been to Durham today but couldn't find anywhere cheap enough - no pound shops there that I could find!
