Do you live in the north east?
Yup, that would do, only I looked in Woolies and could only find them at 99p each. And yes, I do live in north east - can you hear my accent in my typing, or what????
I think they would prefer a few cars, quantity over quality appears to rule in my class!0 -
Hi Moozie and co,pretty good week for me. Firstly as I went out on my own and secondly didnt spent TOO much. Total is ROLL DRUMS!!!! £16.14. This includes the ebay stuff(£4.65). Had to buy a new kettle as our old one finally gave up & went back to the great Tesco in the sky on Friday. Kettle was £5.85(not sure about the exact pence reciept is in my important things drawer" and I'm far too warm and lazy to go upstairs to look.(also dont want to disturb DH as he is sat on the bed marking books-thats my excuse anyway)As for next week well health permitting I have a few things I need to do, am at Drs on tue so will know better then Could you please put me down for £60(I know I know) and then we will see. Have a great day everybody, hope you are not TOO stressed Moozie. Hope everyone stays safe and warm today. Its SOOOOOOO cold here. Take care.Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.
And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.

Good afternoon moozie
I hope everyone has had a good weekend
Last week I challenged myself to spend no more that £15 and I spent £14.31 so just under and no more!
This coming week I aim to spend no more than £20
I spent £16.21 at the post office this morning sending stuff to the USA and down south to friends, no more spending the rest of the week hopefully.
I hope everyone has a good week

Well moozie - the day turned really miserable here - so we didn't go out. I can just smell the pork roasting away - Eldest daughter, and partner are coming for dinner in a couple of hours - so no excuse to go out spending :T :T
So a nice NSD today. :j :j
Hope you're ready for the move now. :beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

My WORD Moozie. 7.00am on a Sunday?
No amount of toast & tea would placate me being woken up at that time even if I did have to pack.....oooh I'm a nasty piece of work if I don't get my weekend lie ins.
Anyway UPDATE:
I spent £89.08 so I beat the £100 budget I set for last week :j
Moving on to today. I spent £10.49 on Christmas cards, wrapping paper, sellotape, gift tags & some new washing line pegs!! I got a lot of cards & wrapping paper & sellotape & gift tags for that though I have to say. I went shopping with my Mum to a discount warehouse place and we came back with armfuls of stuff!
As for the rest of the week's budget.....do I have to count that £10.49? I had to buy those things I suppose I should count it.
So....for this coming week, my budget (including the main grocery shop next Saturday) will be: £105
OH NO that's even worse than last week and I'm not even going out!
Wish me luck I think I'm gonna need it....
EDIT: Just did some shopping on-line to get some things I needed & also top up my PAYG phone so total spends today £42.39  However the good news is I have some cash left over from the weekend that I can use for bus fares this week so I don't need to go to cash machine for that and I can pay for my boot reheeling (yes another pair...) as well. Gotta beat the budget this week as well....gotta gotta gotta!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Afternoon all
I have slipped up badly in the past couple of weeks and need to get back on track again ASAP before the rot sets in, so I'd like to join in the challenge this week please before I get myself into trouble.
I'm going to try very hard and keep to a buget of under £5 for the week. I have an appointment later this week which will cost me £2 bus fare and providing I keep out of the shops that should be all I need to spend as food/petrol and last remaining present are all budgeted for.
I have spent the afternoon cooking meals and preparing packed lunches so I'm all organised and I have no excuse.
Good luck all
