Moggins I hope the fact you haven't posted on here today is because you and OH are getting things sorted. Please let us know how you are. You don't have to go into details or anything just let us know you are OK.
It has been very quiet on here today. I have just logged on so I will do some "thanks" in a mo. Everyone must be Crimbo-something-or-other.Hope you are all getting organised. I only have to do my food shopping and I am sorted. :j :j
Think I feel a wee drinky-poo coming on. Curling up with some wine and a good film - is there anything better on a cold, wet, miserable Sunday???
Happy 2nd Sunday of Advent to you all!"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Early Evening to everyone - Hope we are well
Moggins have you had the chat with hubby yet?
Got woken up by a phone call from my ex-MIL - she's coming over this week to stay with my ex, she asked where I can get Xmas novelty male thongs from in our town centre! Just the kind of topic I needed to hear 1st thing in a morning.
Been a productive day so far, sorted all clean washing and put away.
Xmas decs & tree finally up, plus the aftermath clean up, some lights have gone up outside (like I said before - I dont usually bother, but OH is biggest kid)
Kids are not back from camping yet, so they will have a lovely surprise.
Did a bit of shopping in Morrisons, dont usually go there, but I know they always have cooked chickens ready (unlike tesco's). Only intend to do chicken sandwiches for me & OH.
Thanks DLB I will fetch the parcels monday, if thats ok, dont want to disturb your sunday. Unless they are in your way, then I'll fetch em sooner, thanks for taking them in.
me & OH are just about talking, so far so good - will see how things go from here, still feel annoyed that its been a wasted wk end. Its not often we get the chance of 2nights of freedom from the kids. Never mind.
Things left to do, iron uniforms for work/school for 2mr, then sweep & mop hall & kitchen. Then call it a day.
OH still having to walk to work. Mechanic seems to think its the cambelt gone, and he hopes it hasn't done any further damage, which he thinks it might have, if so - we need a new enginethats all we need.
I dont mind fetching him from work everyday, if he doesn't mind the walk, (its half hour walk each way)
We started our savings club 3 weeks ago, of £2 coins, and a few odd £1 coins, so fars its at £71. Thats our wedding/holiday fund to Florida in 2008. Very lazy day today
Up early, watched DVDs in bed, too cold and windy to go out.
Made HM hot choc with milk and plain chocolate whisked in the saucepan. Had a splash of Aldi 'Baileys' to it:D Their vanilla and chocolate swirl is to die for.
Having BBQ bacon sarnies for tea.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0 -
Good evening to all, Got the tree up yesterday - it is all silver and pink! OH says he would have preferred traditional but hey ho!!!! We girls wanted pink.
Went to the shops today to change something that I bought, just to find when I got it home that it had a rip in it!!! No probs changing it though.
Since I got home I have made some Xmas cards and delivered some to the neighbours. Not much OS today.
Breakfast egg on toast
Lunch pizza (not HM)
tea roast chicken with baked pots and veg.
Poor Moggins - tell him to wind his neck in and I agree with the previous poster he certainly is a T1T himself.
Love and hugs to all (specially Moggins)

Hooray! Living room is very lovely now.
And we have two bookshelves which had to be positioned at an angle because the floor isn't straight - they needed bracing really - but today we managed to wedge them so they're nice and secure (using cardboard and blu-tack - hows that for moneysaving?), and now we don't have to worry about any holes in the walls when we move outWe must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Evening!
still feeling grotty unfortunately. Bad throat and runny nose - very sore it is!
Have just had a soak in the bath while DH and DS14 washed up for a change:rolleyes:
Am planning a big bowl of Cart Dor greek yoghurt and honey ice cream(purely medicinal!:p )
Hope everyones ok.
Take care xxDo what you love :happyhear0 -
:santa2: Hello!
Finally managed to elbow OH off the pc and age of empires! The tree is almost all decorated now (does that count as day 10 decoration?).
Got up this morning to find the most humungous spider underneath the Christmas tree  OH popped it out into the garden! :T but now I am worried that there might be a Mrs or Mr humungous spider in there somewhere, daren't tell dd! Aussie lass I don't know how you cope with all the varieties of spiders you must get.
Main achievement of the day was to finish fluffy scarf number 1 which is in a lovely soft kind of chenille wool in orange/pink tones so quite bright. I am now one third of the way through scarf number 2 in a chinchilla yarn in coffee/black tones. Next one will be similar but blue/green.
Made some mincemeat pies today (while listening to Nat King Cole and Dean Martin doing Christmas:D) and 20 are now in the freezer.
Off for a nice hot bath to ease the pain in my legs and then might do some more knitting.
(((Hugs))) Moggins hope things are a bit better today and that someone has apologised!
Catz xOur days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Evening all
Very lazy day as I anticipated this a.m.
Didn't get any more cards written although did stick stamps on those done.
Practiced one or two carols on new keyboard - I might be near to getting them out as recognisable tunes by Christmas . . . . . but, remember, this is the first time in 40 years I've been able to get back to doing this . . . . .;)
Oh yes, made nice batch of vegetable soup which made neat tea after a very late all-day-breakfast lunch.
Tomorrow I really must wrap penninewoman's pressies and get rest of cards sorted, and buy some stamps . . . .
Still, enough. Off to bed now where I shall relax with Mary Wesley.Where now?0
