Me and my big ummmmmmmmmmm typing finger, what have I started, it only takes one to start taking the Goat. And then it becomes the Butt of all jokes being careful not to upset the Nanny, we don't want her to get Goat Cheesed off ::)Rememember. Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
Never pass up an opportunity to go to the bathroom.
If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You get another chance. And finally, be really nice to your family and friends; you never know
when, You might need them to empty your bedpan.0 -

The little collapsible crates that you can get (Tesco have silver and black ones at the moment for £1.25) which is great for packing your grocerries into (if you have a car with a reasonable sized boot). I have loads of the thick Lidl carrier bags from way back that were 9p, and they are doing ok. Otherwise Tesco/Co-op etc have bags for life for 10p or so which you can just replace when they wear out for free, as far as I am aware.
We don't have an Aldis, they do seem better though. Been to ones in Germany and Belgium. Lidls in Germany was crazy, worse than the Inverness one on offer changeover day.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. Has anyone ever remembered to take their "bag for life" with them?
And successfully swapped it for another when worn out?0 -
I just had a spring clean and the amount of carrier bags I had, Tescos in particular wasn't funny, talk about carrier bag mountain, Mount Everest doesn't have a look in. I do have bags for life round about the house stuffed with kids stuff so probably get them replaced, but haven't yet.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. Im sorry but thats impossible! and why does that woman on the checkout keep looking over her shoulder??0 -
I knew someone that used to have Tesco's delivery and they did that - just one or two items per bag!
Why dont they use paper bags when it's home delivery - at least they're biodegradable... ???0 -
I shop at ASDA and they give the bags away free and offer to help pack. So what if the prices are more expensive I`m free from whingers who moan about paying 3p for a carrier bag when they have probably just spent the best part of a £10 on 40 fags for the weekend! This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
