im amazed Lush didnt offer compo.... they usually throw money/products @ complaints.

maybe its the fact its a new bath... is it plastic? i had a 'stain' from 1 but sprayed cif as soon as i got out and it lifted it off :)
  • Well here I am 2 months down the line and my bath is still ingrained with glitter from the Lush bomb.Lush have provided me with a rubber eraser that is supposed to clean stains which I have been using and has had no effect.Lush have now promised to send me a different cleaning product. However I feel that this has been going on long enough and you just have to look at the bath to see that the glitter is not going to come off.Any advice please as to what I should do now.
  • Have you tried a power cleaner such as Cillit Bang?

Dissolved the paint we got on our bath decorating the bathroom, spray on wipe off:eek::eek:
Wow, I got 3 *, when did that happen :j:T:p

To Lush - Threaten small claims court for cost of new bath and fitting. Complain in writing to the Managing Director, enclose photocopies of receipt for bath, photos of problem, and tell them what you want, I suggest that is a specialist cleaner hired by them and sent out to you to attempt to rectify the problem. You also want to remind them of the sales of goods act, clearly the bomb was not fit for purpose as it damaged the bath and therefore you will be claiming for consequential loss.
Tell them if they do not assist you in this matter you will be contacting Trading Standards and complaining and also seeking others who have had the same issue to contact you to take this matter forwards.

Haha my housemate had a bath with his (ex) girlfriend once, he decided to nick my nice smelly lush soap not realising it was blue glitter soap, I asked him why he was covered in blue glitter 3 days later.... it took about 3 weeks to properly come off, that'll teach him to use my special soap :D.

Back to the point, wait till your bath is fully fully dry and then use sellotape/ one of those clothes rollers?

    Simple hint *don't flame me*

When using their bath bombs, squirt a little drop of shower gel into the bath, and this helps to stop any potential staining and sticking of knicker wasps

Thank you for your very helpful reply.I am going to do all the things you suggested.I have had an email from Lush this morning informing me that the glitter might take up to 3 months to come off my bath.Maybe Lush products should come with a warning that after using you will spend the next 12 weeks scrubbing your bath:mad:
