Give them a call and explain the situation. Its nearly four years since I did mine, but I remember that our classes changed a little from those advertised. I think it changes according to how many couples in a specific area need classes at a particular time, so they might be able to find something else for you. (and for what its worth, I found mine really useful, but like anything, take a little bit from all the sources available and find a way that suits you :-) )

Thanks for the replies.

I have spoken to the NCT admin chap and he is arranging for us to attend another set of classes - admittedly they finish 8 wks before my due date but it's not a dealbreaker for me. There's still one Saturday session which I will need to attend alone, but that's no different to the course we originally booked onto.

So my rant is now turning into praise as the NCT have been very accommodating in moving us to an alternative course.
