New to Broadband

My local BT exchange has recently been upgraded to allow me access to broadband. I have looked at a website that compares various providers and Wanadoo look reasonable.

It claims a speed of 1mb, at a cost of £17.99 a month with a 2gb limit and free modem & installation. The 2gb limit is fine for my needs but is there anything else I should consider.

With the 1mb speed, is this variable ??

there are some bad thinhs about Wanadoo posted elsewhere in the Internet section of the forum that you might like to read first before deciding, there is also a long thread on finding the cheapest broadband...take a look there

This may have been the case Toxteth but a lot of people are suffering problems with Wanadoo NOW
