Looking pretty bad in Yosemite, hope no one is there soon.

Can anyone recommend restaurants in Bryce and Zion.?

Places are limited and tripadvisor reviews seem to be very mixed, a few have commented that they were written by staff!
Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!
  • I'm due to be staying in Yosemite Valley on Sept 10th, so I'm watching the news very carefully.

So far the fire is cutting off route 120 to the west so getting in and out might be tortuous, but still 15 days to go so a lot can happen in that time.

The only place I know in Bryce to eat is Ebenezer's Barn & Grill across the road from Ruby's. Looks so naff, kitsch and clich!d that it's bound to be a lot of fun......

If I can ask a similar question, has anyone eaten at Cafe Diablo in Torrey? Is it really as good as the books & TA say? And if so, when's the best time to eat there - before or after sunset?

We arrived too late in Torrey (car needed an oil change and the Ford garage would only do it 3 hours after we went to them to get it done).

Anyway we had planned on going to:

Shame we missed out, it looks like a fun place.

That's my dilemma - there's that and Cafe Diablo in Torrey and they both look great ... so annoying that such we're only there for one night.

Depends what night you're arriving, Torrey is such a small place (As of the 2010 census, the town had a population of 182) I can imagine the saddlery would be fun on a friday or saturday but pretty empty the rest of the week.
  • Thanks - that's more or less the conclusion I'd come to after looking at pictures of both places. The Saddlery looks pretty big, so on a Wednesday (when we're there) without that many people there it could be very short on atmosphere.

So we've gone with our first instinct and booked Cafe Diablo.
  • PS - Fly out on Friday. Extremely excited now!
