hi there
ive an orange rio phone on payg, £10 mth dolphin.

id like one of the new phones and was considering going going onto a contract with orange
my cousin has got some samsung phone and £10 a mth on a contract
i was just wondering what deals were about and is it always a 2 yr contract

    There are a lot more contracts in the £10/mo region these days. Take a look at this website (recommended by MSE) https://www.omio.co.uk to filter down to a contract that suits you.

    Be careful though as the £10/mo price point can often be more cost effective as PAYG or a rolling monthly contract. Be sure to look at the entire contract cost to see if it is better to buy the handset and use a PAYG tarrif.

    Don't worry, being overly cautious is a much better attitude to being cavalier, cheaper too :D

    A rolling monthly contract unlike a fixed 12/18/24 month contract can be cancelled after 30 days. So you would get a certain number of minutes, texts and data per month like a regular contract only you have opportunity to end the contract when you want to rather than being locked in for a year or more. The downside is that they typically don't come with a free handset.
