We had a tonne-bag size compost delivered at only £39. Good price I think!
Unless corrected I don't think you will find this is potting compost with the added nutrients and wetting agents, it'll more likely be a compost for adding to the garden soil.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
Went to Aldi. They had very few of the peat free composts in but did have another pallet full of the multi purpose stuff in to bulk out the poor delivery on peat free i think.0

How did your plants get on? I bought the Aldi multi-purpose and it was as if it was poisonned! The first lot of plants died- thought it was my fault or lack of watering- the second lot died too and even when I watered it down with garden earth, my plants are still dying?? I did add some growth promoting granules- did I overdo it?? :mad:lovebargainshatewaste wrote: »Aldi's compost is the only one I've used this year (my first year of growing stuff). Plants are happy, so I'm happy
The garden centers around here are at least twice the price. Am on bag number 5 so far, with number 6 sitting in the corner
