clint- the one you have shown is only a dual processer- this model is spose to be a quad processor what ever that means.
as i said i couldnt find the model the sales assistant wrote down.

i am ideally just looking for a lap top to surf the web, msn mess etc. needs to be fast-ish
and maybe send a few emails and write a few reports... (on word.)

Nothing wrong with wanting a purple laptop. My hubby is horrified that I want to cover my MacBook Pro to make it more girly!

i was going to buy the lap top from currys/ pc world.
they are not in trouble are they.
