Everyone seems to be doing so well It's really inspiring.

Only managed to make a measly £39.40 so far selling an old camera so not doing so well but have about 20 things on eBay ending shortly which I hope should boost my total up.

Quick question I sold an old laptop on eBay a few days ago but still haven't received payment for it yet, what is the best route to go down in regards to this or should I just relist?

Thanks guys keep up the good work :)

Give it time, send an invoice - if you don't hear back in a few days get eBay involved :) xxx

  • Its been a while since I updated but I managed to make quite a bit of money this week by my standards. I am now up to £80.45 on ebay and I still have about 20 listed and £10 has not been paid yet. (Although i doubt the person will now though!) Going to go ebay crazy this weekend too. Is it too late to get involved in the mini ebay challenge? I am going to aim for 25 items to be listed I think.

I have also had £5 from surveys into my paypal account and I finally got my first morrisons miles voucher. I have earnt a bit on other survey sites and click sites but Im not going to count that till its actually in my paypal account!

I just need to work out what my credit card bill stands at now... urghhh!!

You won't regret it hotspur_pam. I once sold a vintage t-shirt complete with yellow arm stains for more than I paid for it. It didn't have the stains when I originally bought it. It was a lovely top, and I was amazed at the price it went for! Years ago I made £1600 selling cds & records... they don't sell for that much now.

That's fantastic froglet, thanks for the encouragement too :). I threw out some clothing that had small stains in the front and white deodorant stains under the armpits. Thought it would be a bit too icky to put on ebay! Would this sort of thing sell??!! Your stained t-shirt was vintage so was valuable but my stuff isn't. What do you reckon?
Haven't earned any additional income this week  but well done peeps on your earnings :T

Havent posted in a while(my money making that is!) because I havent made any! Spending more than im making but dont fear-speculating to acumulate! Spent £30 on cake stuff but expecting £170+delivery fees in cake sales :D Im busy money making but havent had the rewards yet-have about 5 survey sites so close to paying out but havent had any surveys all day-typical! Looking forward to posting my money making update tomorrow when I get my foreign students payment :D

Would love to join your ebay challenge but I cant sell anything on ebay anymore...I was selling charity wristbands(200 of them for H4H!) and my postmaster said they only needed a 1st class stamp as they were light. Well turns out she was billy bullsh*ting, I was sent HUNDREDS of emails from buyers saying they had to pay postage at their PO. So many many cases were opened, I couldnt refund fast enough(I offered free postage if they paid the full price for a wristband) and now Paypal wont allow me to sell and I think its the same for ebay-compliance is 'very low' and so is performance! I did explain to every buyer what happened but they were having none of it! Ho hum!
