Thanks to you both. I have dragged that ring & another around Hatton Garden & got nowhere. I'll try to list one as it's a platinumand see how it goes. People seem to want new wedding bands & engagement rings these days... I'll let you know how I get on. I have a few listings on ebay, but they're not doing as well as I hoped. 5 days left though so that could all change.I used a £5 off voucher. CAn I stick that towards my £10 a day?

Youngmummy- I really feel for you. it is not a nice situation to be in at all. Good luck at getting it sorted. I think you really do need to say enoug is enough. I think it is great that you want your LO to have contact with his grandparents but they need to make the effort as well and I don't think it will do any harm from the sounds of it, I'd tell them to pi$$ off if they made comments about me visiting my friends over them- friends help you out, and not refuse to pay back debts... i'm ranting now sorry good luck hun x

    Re the wedding ring.

i sold some gold stud earrings on ebay a couple of weeks back.
they only weighed 0.2 grams, so about £ 2.50 scrap, they sold for £9.70.

    Good morning everyone

Hi Froglet I agree with Misskaytee put it on ebay and make sure you weigh it. That seems to help sell silver and gold better.

Hi Youngmumy sorry to hear that you suffer from depression I battle it too. You have such a mature head on such young shoulders. Take care of yourself.

Ebay £9.15. Listed more items last night. I try and list clothes on a Tuesday to end on Sunday. Keyboard playing up so finding it difficult to get this written!

Take care all and keep going .. we are half way through June. Lets make the most of the next 2 weeks :)

    Morning all

Thanks for the advice from you Misskaytee and ebayqueen. I will try & get them weighed & see what happens. One is from Tiffany, but really you're paying for the name... it's light!
Re: depression. It's something 1 in 4 suffer with, so if we don't suffer it ourselves we will know somebody that does. Thank you so much for your help and supportive comments.
I am going to have to give this selling a final push before the end of the month to make my target. I need to raise my rent for the next two months & fiund some summer work too!

  • I have a quick question for those of you that eBay...

What do you do when you have nothing left to sell?! Like if I put a load of stuff on eBay for the June challenge, then how do I make money in July if I have nothing left to sell?!

Also, I signed up to S!n B!ngo yesterday, got £10 reward when I deposited £10. However it seems I need to spend my deposit before I can withdraw and you can't withdraw rewards, does that sound right?
