What does everyone else do with the money they make??

GREAT IDEA! one day, when I am debt free... I can do same and some to savings.0 -
Actual cash made I tend to pay off things straight away, as then really the money is worth even more as it will save interest in the longer run. That said, I've only got just under a couple of hundred ££ left on my credit card, then the rest - remainder of a loan and a couple of student overdrafts, which are all interest free, so I can spend a bit more time deciding what is best to allocate to what as there will be no interest anywhereHalf of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700

Hey Everyone,
Some great starts to the month already! :T I've got £40.20 from eBay to add, plus £2.50 of Nectar point rewards that were used today in Sainsbury's.
Really must make the effort this weekend with eBay as my house is still full of clutter, and I could do with the extra pennies as I need to buy a new (ish!) car soon.

Thank you to everyone who as wished my daughter the best for tomorrow im sure she will be fine and fingers crossed we are home the same day they usually let me as im so use to medical procedues anyways so they know im as capable as them and it frees a bed.
Well Im chuffed with my start. I will have a good weekend earning I think and have had an offer on my daughters pram so fingers crossed that may have sold tomorrow and be a nice chunk.
Im saving my money up and paying it off bills and accounts and on the same phone call I will be cancelling them too so they are gone.
First to go is going to be my old business account with santander which stands at Over Drawn £64.00. Hoping I can clear this next week then Im aiming to clear my simply Be account as they have discounted the balance if I clear it in next 4 weeks which stands at £98.00. So they are the first two things I want this page to do for me. Once these are gone I will look at what is the best thing to clear next probably will be my bank overdraft.DMP with CCCS £9,000 Awaiting exact figure when everything sorted x January 2013 DUE January 2017

stueyandkatie wrote: »I found a £10 note in a charity shop this afternoon, so I handed it in. While i was browsing around (i'm on the look out for red fabric) a old lady came over to me and asked if I was the "youth" (i'm nearly 30, lol) who handed the £10 in. I said i was and she shook my hand and said "i wish they (youths) could all be like you. It was mine, and here is the change from what i bought. Because if you didn't hand it in, i couldn't have bought this scarf for my daughter". I told her i really couldn't accept it and she was so insistant. I told her to give it to the shop, it was a charity shop after all, to which she replied "if you didn't need the money, you wouldn't be shopping here, and it pays to be honest, so this is your reward". I was so overwhelmed by her generosity!!! She put the money in my carrier bag i was carrying and walked out of the shop. The was £6.51 change!! I couldn't believe it!! How nice!! I donated £1.51p, which the staff were over the moon with, in the box at the front of the shop and kept the £5.
So anyway, i'm £5 better off which i am adding to my total since none of my listings have ended yet on ebay.
It goes to show....its pays to be honest! :-)
