    I've been Money Tipped!
I found a £10 note in a charity shop this afternoon, so I handed it in. While i was browsing around (i'm on the look out for red fabric) a old lady came over to me and asked if I was the "youth" (i'm nearly 30, lol) who handed the £10 in. I said i was and she shook my hand and said "i wish they (youths) could all be like you. It was mine, and here is the change from what i bought. Because if you didn't hand it in, i couldn't have bought this scarf for my daughter". I told her i really couldn't accept it and she was so insistant. I told her to give it to the shop, it was a charity shop after all, to which she replied "if you didn't need the money, you wouldn't be shopping here, and it pays to be honest, so this is your reward". I was so overwhelmed by her generosity!!! She put the money in my carrier bag i was carrying and walked out of the shop. The was £6.51 change!! I couldn't believe it!! How nice!! I donated £1.51p, which the staff were over the moon with, in the box at the front of the shop and kept the £5.

So anyway, i'm £5 better off which i am adding to my total since none of my listings have ended yet on ebay.

It goes to show....its pays to be honest! :-)

Well done on clearing your cc debt K8eh89. It's a bug9er when that happens with eBay but then sometimes things go for more than you thought or you pick up a bargain yourself. I reckon it evens out in the end.

I've got 2x£5 Halifax rewards to add today, it's a start.

Thankyou...I'm gonna put the money i save on my pre-paid mastercard and use it as savings for christmas and special occasions or if an emergency crops up i won't have to worry too much, eg, appliance breakdown, car problems.

What does everyone else do with the money they make??

I agree about Stueyandkatie. I was brought up the same way, if found something (apart from roadkill of 1p and 2p, etc) to hand it in so could be reconnected to original owner.

with the extra money I make, if it is vouchers, they are usually spent on food shopping or if amazon, gifts for family birthday/xmas etc,

if cash, used straight away to pay off debts.
