hi there you lovely lot
i am fairly new here, i have posted a few times, but mainly lurked around a bit.
I would like to help out anyone who has an autistic child (or chat to anyone who has any disabilities).
I am a mom of 3, my second daughter is severely autistic and i know what a long and lonely road it is caring for her.
If anyone wants to chat to me then feel free and i will help as much as i can.
Sometimes just chatting can make people who are stressed, less stressed !!!
so come on you lovely lot, say hi to me !!! :j:beer:

Hi All,
My son is 13 years old, diagnosed with Asd and adhd since aged 5. The situation does get better with age in some respects, my son is now a loving caring young man.0 -

hi my ds is going through the assessment for autism at the moment
he also has a few other problems0 -
I have two with ASD, youngest who has complex autism and middle son with Aspergers (plus they both have a multitude of other stuff too).
Life can be a challenge, it can be frustrating but it can also be very rewarding too when they do things that the specialists said they would never be able to do.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
My 13 year old son has ASD/Speech & language disablilty/learning difficulties.
I haven't found that life gets any easier, the opposite in fact. I wouldn't change him for the world but I would change his situation if I could.0 -
