Can I terminate my Orange contract after 5 faulty phones

Ok, I have my contract since January 2011 and it is due to last for 24 months. I was wondering If there is anyway that I can get out of this?
I have had 5 going on 6 faulty handsets in only 5 months, which is pretty disgraceful. I have rang them numerous times trying to get a completely different handset but every time they say that their system is not giving them any options to offer me. They then go on to say "we will phone you back if the system comes up with anything, (they never phoned) but in the mean time would we can send you a replacement handset".

I want out of this contract, any ideas?

Contract price £35 pm

No you can't. Your phone is not part of the contract, that is for the airtime only.

You aca try emailed the executive office (search on here for the email address) who may be able to help as a goodwill gesture, but as Rusty says your phone and airtime are seperate contracts.

You have the right to a working phone but the retailer has the choice to repair / replace yours, but as long as they are doing so you have no further rights to a replacment of a differnt model.

    Sorry it's not better news.

If Orange has swapped it out for the same fault 3 times they can offer you a DMR (different model replacement).

That might be a way out (but you don't get a choice of any phone, their system is programmed to offer you 3 similar models to pick from)...
