Child Tax Credits - Lloyds TSB

Someone on the banking board seemed to suggest that the opposite of the above would affect HBOS customers come July, ie payments normally going in 12pm - 3am on a Monday morning would now be in on Sunday afternoon?
Either way - best to have a bit of a buffer "just in case"

Just to remind everyone that your TCs are due on a MONDAY.
They may have historically paid on a sunday, but they are not late if they pay it on sunday midnight.

Thats easy for you to say given that you *claim* to be a millionaire!
Someone like you wouldnt understand what its like to be sitting waiting on money coming in to feed your family! The loopy one has gone :j0 -
Is this only Lloyds TSB this is affecting?
My tax credits go in on a Saturday at the Royal Bank and I like to be able to lift them then so that I can pay the nursery cash first thing on Monday morning. x0 -
I would also be interested to know. I bank with Royal Bank of Scotland and my tax credits are always there on a Saturday morning.
Not that I rely on them to be there on a Saturday, if they go in on a Monday, so be it. Just curious.0 -

Did I really say that on MSE? I thought I tried hard not to.
Even though I am very comfortable now, it does not mean that in times gone by I was not reliant on my next pay check before food was bought for my family.
I had to do it all on my own, I was not reliant on someone else (ie the state).
D70How about no longer being masochistic?
How about remembering your divinity?
How about unabashedly bawling your eyes out?
How about not equating death with stopping?0 -
This was a one off due to maintenance work. Will all be back to 'normal' next Sunday.0
