2 Centre holiday New York & Somewhere warm !

Hi

One of my mates is looking for a two centre holiday in January.
He would ideally like to spend 3 or 4 days in New York, and then 10 days somewhere warm ( Maybe Florida, or caribbean ?)

He is due a tax rebate of something approaching £3000 so has plenty of money !

Flying from one of the london airports.

Any advice on where to look for that type of holiday ?

He has no internet, so it'll be me that is looking on his behalf.

TIA

Somewhere nearer the southern hemisphere would be the warmest I would have thought.

Florida is warm in January - warm but not hot - and quite tolerable for us northerners who cannot stick the heat. it could all be booked independently - fly into new york, down to florida and back from Miami - and hotels could also be booked independently. This may be a bit pricey though as you need to fly in and out of the same airport to get a good return flight to USA and that means a return to New York just to fly home.

    Thanks for that.

I'm not to sure if he would want to return to New York before flying home.
As you say it would probably be cheaper.

Years ago my sister and her family went down the independant route, when going to florida. They ended up flying out and back via New York because it was the cheapest way. But they came home knackered.

I did tell him, the further south, the better the weather was likely to be.

Not necessarily, look into AA( and others) and open Jaw tickets and also a free stopover in New York if you make a connection there.

Do a SEARCH on this forum for details

US law prevents this, they never got over the "Missile crisis"
