reliable PC supplier, any recommendations?

Hi,
I know the spec I want but can't identify a reliable supplier (mine has gone bust :-( )

Could anyone recommend a supplier who will (ideally) build a PC to my spec and can be trusted to sort out any problems that might arise? I'm near Stoke/Crewe, local would be nice but online/phone would be OK,

Many thanks in advance,

Caroline

    Hi

    Try http://www.overclockers.co.uk/.

I bought a pc from them in 2007 and they sorted out a hard drive problem quickly. (The supplied hard drive was less than I ordered)

Unless you need something very specific it will probably be easier and cheaper to get a close approximation off the shelf from the likes of dell.

Which mags are they in, never seen em personally, some of these smaller companies are really good because of low overheads.

Bigger companies like Novatech you pay more but you get more service (unless it's a TFT with 1 dead pixel) then they hide behind the usual crap about it's not dead unless there's 3

What do you plan on doing with this PC?

Playing games, Watching DVD, Surfing Web, eBay, Typing up work documents, etc?

Whilst it's generally best to spend as much as you can to make a PC future proof, there's also no point spending thousands of pounds on something where you only need a basic configuration
