Can you have 2 ebay accounts

i have one ebay account with 300+ feedback (all positive but low marks for p&p). This now means i can't list on free listing days. I have lots of stuff i want to list but dont know if it will sell so dont want to pay to list. Can i set up a new ebay account and sell through that (i know it will have no feedback so might put people off but not too bothered about that). Also if i can set up a new account can i link it to the same paypal account? thanks

You can, however if ebay have restricted your account then you probably won't be able to sell on it as they will link them.
It may be best to try & improve your p&p on the account that you have.

i spoke to ebay about how i could improve my p&p and they said its on account for a year which is until november and only way to improve it is to get 300 ish feedback with 5 stars which is pretty much impossible as i am only a private seller!

Could you do free p&p, I know that you then have to pay to list & pay more fvf's & paypal as the postage element will be counted towards the fees but at least that way you will automatically get 5* p&p.

thanks, i thought about that but i wont sell anything like 300 things, will probably do that from now on just to be on safe side though

I looked into opening a second Ebay account as my sons are selling stuff to raise money for a World Challenge trip. On live chat, the Ebay rep told me that I could, no problem, but had to use a separate E-mail address. So I didn't bother!!!

5 Mins to setup a hotmail or yahoo mail account. Problem solved.

Quite agree and it is always wise to have another just incase something goes t1ts up. Yes, you can add your email address to paypal.

so reading this your ebay account is restricted until november. i advise your strongly DONT open a second account as what ebay will do is suspend the new account, and also suspend your current account as you are not allowed a second account if you have a restricted account

not sure if my account is restricted as such. Its below standard for postage and packaging. Does this mean i shouldnt set up another account as i have just set another one up? can i get suspended for this? thanks
