Yes I get an error "An error prevented your security software from connecting to internet, make sure your internet connection works (28)"
Internet is working, lol0 -
I've just booted up my 2nd PC. It has downloaded the latest pattern files without problem.0

Strange it works now. I tried update with in the program and I got the error. If I update it via taskbar icon it works.0

Thanks, I keep getting this. I bought the AV from e-bay and so far have not been able to register it. On my profile it says I am the second user, therefore I am not sure whether I will get the automatic updates. On your screen, do you get the details of your scan and your subscription membership date with the option to renew. I will have to wait and see if it is going to work.0

I think what has happened lolou41 is that you actually have an illegal copy. Pc-cillin internet security is only allowed on 3 pc's but I assume that would be for the name its registered too. I dont think its allowed to transfer that to another person and be sold in that way.0

If your not getting anywhere, try Trend Micro Support. http://esupport.trendmicro.com/support/supportcentral/supportcentral.do?id=m1&locale=en_GB
My version looks like this

Thanks, my version looks similar with some small changes as it is 2007version. It has ticked all in green and it apears that I have registered on my profile but the only bit missing is my e-mail address. It says in my profile I am the second registered user. Please how did you get to post the screen, have tried but cannot do it? If I can do oiot I can post it here.Thanks0

Hi Loulou,
To post a screenshot:
Press the PrtScn button on your keyboard. This saves a snapshot of your screen in memory. You can paste this image into a word document, or open Windows Imaging in the accessories folder, select new jpg, and paste into there for editing. Of course if you already have a favourite photo editor - use that.
Once you have saved your image as a jpg, go to http://www.tinypic.com/
Browse for your image and upload it. Then click on and copy the middle option (entitled IMG Link: for forums and bulletin boards)
Go back to your Post on MSE and paste the path into your message.
Preview your post to see how your image looks, the post away!!
Have a go now so we can see how you have got on.0 -

I caught the Thanks button by mistake instead of Quote!
Don't paste an image in to Word, not a good idea as Word has it's own strange method of compression.
Irfanview will do screen captures very easily by simply pressing c and then you can simply save the captured image. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
