We recently stayed at the Forton Travelodge. Its northbound but does have acces from the southbound carriageway. very quiet & plenty of parking. Excellent little place. We've also stayed at the Stroud one & that was a bit of a disaster as the 2007 floods had hit & the place was totally empty of food! Great stop though.
Maybe travel further down than Lancaster as its a bit of a trek to devon from lancaster!0
