Sony Ericsson Arc HD Recording Issues
Hi everyone,
I bought a Sony Ericsson Arc in April with mobiles.co.uk having researched the phone and read nothing but good things about it. All was going well until recently.when I used the cameras HD video recording function. After recording a video in HD the audio and picture are out of sync with each other. I've reinstalled the software and found the problem remains.
I did a Google search on this issue and it seems to be affecting many others and is reported on several phone/tech websites. However giving Sony Ericsson marketing this feature as its main selling point I feel.cheated.
What can I do? Will mobiles.co.uk swap the handset for another phone? What are my rights? I spoke to Orange and they say to speak to mobiles.co.uk although they're quite tricky to get hold of.
Helllpppppp !!!

Hi pmday2013,
Sorry to hear you have had problems with your phone. All third party dealers have their own procedures in place to deal with issues such as these. You will need to contact mobiles.co.uk to find out what theirs is. Either way with a new phone you are eligible for a replacement phone as your phone is under warranty with the manufacturer, but the dealer may just collect the phone and forward to them for repair. This sometimes can take a couple of weeks so if you can back your contacts and have a back up phone ready to go.
Hope this helps,

Last time I had this particular issue with an SE handset, it turned out that the SD card I was using (or rather the M2 card as it was back then) simply couldn't write the data quickly enough.
Have you speed tested the card to see what it's real life read & write rates are?Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0
