You said all the detractors on this thread have a vested interest. So what is mine?
Its whatever you decide it to be today. You are whoever you decide to be today. Thats the internet for you. Get over yourself. If you are doing well in your house and you think that house prices are reasonable and houses are a good investment then what the hell are you doing on this site pushing it for?
The stink of fear from the housing bulls on this website is sickening.0 -

I don't own a house and I'm not 'pushing' house ownership, I'm pointing out that your logic is flawed, namely that if people don't buy houses, that doesn't mean that they magically have more spare money each month that they can invest because they will need to spend it on rent.
I'm not clear what I need to 'get over' or what the beginning of your post means.0 -

The arrogance of the bulls on this forum is breathtaking. Why are they even here at all? Why would house prices concern these people if they are doing so well financially and are so comfortable in their mortgage free houses.
The answer is that they are debted up to their eyeballs and are in complete fear that the housing market will crash. That is why they are on here. Poor deluded, frightened souls.
The only debt I have is my mortgage and a small overdraft which I won't be using this month. Never had a credit card, anything I buy I save up for. That's probably because I live in a northern hell hole though.
Housing market crash wouldn't bother me at all - they would have to go down to prices some 15 years before I bought mine before I was in negative equity and even if I were in negative equity, I aint going anywhere so what would it matter? Not everyone took ever offer of cash and credit that was offered to them.0 -

You can debate what's going to happen to prices without being personally affected by the change.0 -

Another Bull, rushes in to help dodge the question.
Why are housing bulls on here. What do they care about house pirces if they have already bought and house prices are such a good investment. Do they buy TV sets and then go on and on and on about how TV sets forums and tell people how great TV is?
Why are you all so scared that house prices will fall that you spend months, perhaps years on here talkign about them? You must all be so indebted that you are scared stiff that prices may fall so you spend all your time on here arguing why they won't.
Housing bulls are a bunch of saddo's. FACT.0 -

Given that you are making sweeping and inaccurate generalisations about all of the posters on the thread...0
