Asus laptop - can't burn recovery discs

    perhaps but i think u said u tried an alternative batch ? can u try a different burning program :

    Do I download where it says AVS image convertor? Thanks

    Also, how will the laptop default to this?

    You can't use a different burning application to make the recovery discs, you have to use the default software provided.
    Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.

    On the other batch, I couldn't get past disc 1.Again at the checking stage.

    Had the same problem with a neighbours lappy (Toshiba Satellite), the burning app used for creating the recovery discs simply didn't like +R media although other burning apps never had a problem with them.

    Strange, I have used imageburn to make recovery discs for my: HP, HP netbook, Packard Bell and Dell /
    BLOODBATH IN THE EVENING THEN? :shocked: OR PERHAPS THE AFTERNOON? OR THE MORNING? OH, FORGET THIS MALARKEY!
