Flashing adverts with Internet Explorer 9

Thank you Hammyman, yes I've found f1 now thank you but - like Jane above - I have found that the popup blocker is already set. Incidentally the instructions seem to refer to the old IE8 as the layout is different now. I had to click on a little 8 pointed thing instead of Tools.

I have installed Adblock and have to say it works wonderfully well.

Why did these annoying ads start coming up anyway, it was perfectly alright before. Is someone suddenly going to publicise an expensive new adblocking package?

I uninstalled IE9 and put IE8 back on and the problem disappeared. Therefore I can only assume that IE9 introduced these flashing adverts.

Thank you, that's interesting. I think I'll stick with IE8 for a few weeks more until they sort it out.
