Quick question...

Hi,
This may be a stupid question..... I have an e-ISA with Nationwide and the "bonus" interest rate is due to end in June, this was opened last tax year.
NW offer a rate of 3.1% to existing customers if they open a new e-isa and the account allows transfers in.
My question is can i open a new e-isa with NW (even if I have one with them) to get the bonus rate and then transfer in the old NW e-ISA???
Many thanks in advance Emma

Yes, you can.
Or at least it doesn't say you can't.

You don't need to wait, the current bonus rate will be paid up to the date of transfer, after which the new rate will apply. My question is can i open a new e-isa with NW (even if I have one with them) to get the bonus rate and then transfer in the old NW e-ISA?
You can simply transfer your old account to a new one, see http://www.nationwide.co.uk/savings/cash_isa/eisa/isainternaltransfers.htm0 -
Thanks for the responses :-)0

I've just transferred a Santander ISA into this Nationwide account, went through very quickly.
When another Nationwide ISA matures (December), I hope to add to the eISA.
Good luck0
