Thanks very much for this OP, just filled up two bags full, and it only cost a bit of spare change in my pocket.... :-)Because it's only half the calories, you can eat twice as much.
Because it's a bargain, you can buy twice as much.
Since starting saving money, I've spent way too much!!! :doh:0 -

What??????
I must have missed the memo when this came into effectI made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -
Cheers OP.
I bought 32 of em today. Left some for a fellow MSE'r as I am good like that!
Just picket up a whole box off the shelf. The lady on the till looked a bit surprised and when it came up as a penny each she looked shocked.
"I think they are on special" I said.
"I dont care, whatever it scans at is the right price as far as I am concerned she said"
She is definitely an assistant to go to for future bargains/miss prices!0 -

I'm sure its "if its over £20.00 in coins, you can refuse to accept it".
Although I cant proove it, but 20p in copper might be a sub-rule to the above.. who knows lol0 -

1p and 2p coins are legal tender up to the value of 20p
5p and 10p coins are legal tender up to the value of £5
20p and 50p coins are legal tender up to the value of £10
£1 and £2 coins are legal tender to any denomination
Why persecute checkout girls by paying with pennies, they work for a living just like you do? Surely all supermarket staff should be treated with respect if they are not disrespecting you?0 -

Aaaaah, a victim of my own success.. :-)0 -
