I had mine done last week, cost me £35 for the MOT and all it failed on was a bulb (cost me £2 to replace)

I was still in Scotland when I had it MOT'ed last year. Had it done in Dicksons on Dunkeld Road in Perth, and cost me £15. It didn't fail on anything!

They are currently doing MOT's for £18.95 (dependent on the age of the car) although I know it's a fair drive from Edinburgh...
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Halfords charge £54.80 but with a Tesco Clubcard you get 20% off making it about £43

I'm tempted by the National £35 online booking though.

There's only one council run one in Edinburgh and it's quite far away.

good garage scheme is a con
garages can only sign up to it if they agree to buy all oils/fuids from the company so any dodgy garage can join it

if you look up a garage in the scheme you will not find ANY negative reviews EVER
