Having used TOP CASH BACK to make several purchases, I am rather angry to find that no money has been paid for my significant purchases.
I filed my claims and enquiries and the result today was this
Hi there,
Unfortunately it appears that your claim could not be approved. The comment that has been posted regarding this rejection is that 'Another marketing channel was credited with the sale'. This does suggest that your commission (or cashback) for your queried transaction has been credited to another referrer and not Top CashBack, most possibly due to the fact that Top CashBack have not been marked as your initial or last referrer to this sale. Please note that this does not necessarily mean that another cashback website has been involved and this can include entities such as search engines, comparison websites, voucher code websites etc – that may be directly or indirectly associated in some way with this transaction. I’m afraid that the name of this company or entity in question is not specified to us due to strict confidentiality reasons, and therefore we do not have this information to pass on to you.
What complete rubbish. I only used the one site to buy and as they will not tell me where my money went to, I can only assume they are frauds.
I know many of you get and make lots of cash back, but I cannot understand why mine failed?

They've told you why your claim failed. You shouldn't accuse them of being frauds when it's patently not the case. In my experience they're by far the best of all the cashback companies.0

This happened to me, I had done a comparison search for motor insurance and I must have forgotten to clear my temp internet and cache files so lost out on morethan cashback.
Other than that I must say I have never had a problem with topcashback and many other transactions have gone through OK.
I think the OP should withdraw their accusations about one of the best cashback sites out there.0 -
I agree wholeheartedly with posts 2 and 3. TCB are certainly not a fraud. I have had thousands of pounds back from them over the years.
The most likely reason for not receiving cashback is failing to clear cookies. "The simplest explanation is most likely the correct one". Check out Occam's Razor:

As above. For this very reason I use a separate browser to make large purchases thru TCB - eg I use Chrome normally, but Safari for TCB. That way I can clear the cache and cookies in Safari without it affecting my normal browsing.0

Well I hope Top Cashback sue you for liable for such an unfounded comment
. Just because something didn't work for you does not make it fraud.
It is well known that not all cash backs track and is even commented on by Martin on this site.0 -

It would be interesting if someone who has not received a cashback from one of these websites for the above reasons to issue a Subject Access Report to see the information.0

Has anyone obtained cashback when using the merchant 'One stop phone shop'? I'm still waiting after a month and a half. No I didn't clear my cookies, but neither did I clear them with all the other merchants which have paid up via Topcashback.
Suppose it's a bit hit and miss. However, something which does annoy me are those insurance quotes which are always more than that indicated from the same company on a comparison site quote. This often negates the benefit of the cashback. Can they be held to the same price?0 -

I've only had one problem with TCB recently and that was picked up and resolved by the TCB reps on MSE.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Thanks for the posts. I know that most of you get your cash back. But what gets me is that they cannot or will not tell you where the money is gone. I bought a lot of things through TopCashback at Best Buy. I was expecting a lot of money back.
The claim was pending and in an earlier response they confirm that my claim tracked, date and time etc.
So according to the latest reply. Best Buy have paid another referrer my money, when they promised to pay me 18% if I bought through Topcashback.
Too many companies hide behind the data protection act when Freedom of certain information soon reveals that all is not quite as it seems.
Topcashback should be questioning Best Buy on my behalf and not be content with sorry we sent it somewhere else. Where is the money now?NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0
