I also think Greggs is commendable in not wasting food. Whoever is lucky enough to benefit has to make sure they are up bright n early enough to benefit. I guess the streets are not comfy enough to indulge in a lie-in.
Good old Greggs! I'd rather give my occasional custom to a company with those ethics than the wasteful chain stores.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

If they truly are 'smackheads' it's unlikely they would spend very much money on food anyway, so probably doesn't make much difference to how much drugs they can buy and at least they are getting a bit of nutrition which they will really need.
I got a pack of 3 barbaque pork loins for 59p in morrisons today, 1 rib eye steak for 55p and one 'tender' steak for 55p
Someone should tip off the police that they are congregating there and they could be arrested.0 -

I was in a tesco store a while back, about 15 mins before they closed, a member of staff was putting absolutely loads of the fresh bakery items like muffins and doughnuts into a big clear bag to throw them out, they hadn't even been reduced once
This will make your hair curl. I use to work for Boots & we were not allowed to reduce the sandwiches. We use to throw them again but... we would have to cover them with fairy liquid as some homeless people use to go through our bins. Whenever I was in charge of removing the sandwiches, I would never tie the bag, cover them in liquid and put them at the top of the bin!
Marks & Spencers was the best place for staff & oopsies. It would be reduced for customers and then after 5:30pm, the staff would get all the items for 10p. This includes all frozen items... I would get a whole week shop for £12 and it would be all quality items! :TNow I am employed, lets get rid of this student debt!0 -

This entirely. If I worked in a food shop, I would be inclined to do the same. Stops them from stealing from your shop etc.Now I am employed, lets get rid of this student debt!0
