No haven't paid any additional money, all was fee free!0 -
Ours too was fee free with a survey but felt a more indepth survery would be better. We got the £400ish survey free but wanted a little more knowledge.0

I am a remortgage so didn't need an in depth survery carried out. Also fee free which is always good, no risk apart from credit check!0

We had a meeting on Saturday with a mortage advisor at HSBC to formally apply, and we got "referred" to the underwriters. Does this mean we've passed the credit check?
Our chap there said it would either be approved, rejected or referred and 99% of 90%LTV applications get referred but I just wondered what our chances are for approval.
Thanks0 -
