I did an Ebay listing for several bin bags of clothes that I didn't have time to sort through. I got more than 50p per kilo for it and it was stress free. I just stressed in the listing it had everything from baby clothes to adult clothes.0

I sold several dresses on ebay, (from topshop and DP and New Look etc,) and got almost as much as I paid for them. Me and my family members buy half our stuff from Primark, and it's basically not worth a lot, so we just give them to the local charity shop. I would never use one of these companies.0

One of these Cash4Clothes (cash4-clothes.co.uk) shops near me. They employ poles for cash in hand.
That alone shows how dodgy they are.0 -
I had a bag from them which I have been filling over the last few months.
I went on line just now to arrange collection, and guess what there is a page informing you that they have stopped trading...
Would it be that too many people had trouble with them?
I can only say I have used them once and didnt...oh well have to look for somewhere else to send them:laugh::laugh::laugh:0 -
It states on their website:
It is with great regret that we must inform you that Clothes For Cash Ltd has ceased trading with immediate effect
No other information! Looking online a little further I can see this happened back in September. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
First of all arrived at Cannock head office with a large amount of clothes to be told I have to sort all items in some kind of order after spending over a hour sorting was told I have to wait cause they under staffed then when asked how long it's goin to be was informed that that I was to load over 500 kg of clothes and not to come back again, I feel that all these people want is new/nearly new items washed clean clothes pillow cases with quilt covers matched, socks paired etc
Found them very rude unprofessional and GREEDY...!
Will not use again and advise no one else to...! reminds me of the old scam that we buy any car dot com used, offer the world to get you there then kick you when they get you there, cause u made the effort and can't be bothered to argue the toss, n what about the needing and desperate in our own country...!!

Hello Sandy
I wouldn't recommend return to earn.
I sent them a bag of 13.85kg of clothes and most of the clothes were very well looked after designer clothes and some new clothes..
I made sure that I washed them all before carefully checking them and putting them into the bag..
they paid me for about 3 and a half kilos!! £2.80, I was gobsmacked.. they sent me five photos of evidence and two of which were new things that seemed to have developed a white chalk like mark since going to return to earn???
I will never use them again and would recommend you do not use them.OD £300/£800, CCard1 £11344/£11292,
CCard2 £4331/£4453
10k in 2013 £12,000\ £0
Sep 12 £15975/£16503 :eek:Today0 -
I took a load of bags of clothes to the van which appears locally to where I live, from Ammanford. I weighed them before I left home, and worked out what I was due. When I went to the van, the guy weighed them, disagreed with the weights, and gave a much lower price for them. As I drove off, I saw him put some money into his joggers pockets out of the "kitty" bag. All future bags went to Cancer Research, and will continue to do so.

Took a binbag with a load of stuff got £2 for it it weighed in at £2.50 but apparently they had no change. Suppose it ok for stuff not good enough for ebay but in general I'd avoid it.mortgage free by christmas 2014 owed £5,000, jan 2014 £4,170, £4,060, feb £3,818 march £3,399 30% of the way there woohoo

Hi, I'm just looking for a guide to my rights. Last year (Aug 2013) i sent off a bag of clothes to clothes for cash, waited about 4 weeks for any correspondence to find they had ceased trading and 'were dealing with a backlog' and they said they would get in contact shortly. Well its now 2014 and I have recently found out they are now trading under new owners and their FAQS state that they don't deal with anything that happened with the company before Dec 2013. Is there anything I can do seeing as I have never had any correspondence from them other than when they collected my items and they have never returned the large sack of clothes they collected (Which I have been told by a police friend could be classed as theft?!)? Any help would be appreciated before I report them.0
