I'm guessing that English isn't his first language. Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -
I'm a bit lost. Admittedly the logbook is not proof of ownership, but unless the OP actually has a receipt from the seller with their own name written on it then it seems to me that they're facing an uphill battle.
Also, for what it's worth I wouldn't start faking signatures on logbooks to illegally transfer the ownership. That's bad advice in anyone's language and could get you in serious trouble.
