thanks withabix got this the last time they went down and am waiting on them being delivered today as there was a delay. Been watching for them coming back down from eleven quid odds! As you say great buy and no carrying from supermarket. Am going through sparkling water quickly just now as on meds that make me thirsty!

You can't open a tap when you're jogging or put it in your lunchbox.

Plus tap water's not pure - it's full of unwanted stuff such as oestrogen (from women peeing out urine when they're on the pill) and chemicals from the sanitising process.

Fluoride in your area? Proven to have very negative side effects.

Water in the London area has gone through 7 people before you drink it, charming.

Oh dear. We agree on most things but I definitely do not on this one (dependant on where you live). I actually prefer my Yorkshire tap water to any bottled chite. The kids take this nice tap water with a splash of Robinson's in it to school. they have little Aluminium bottles that cost £1. When you're jogging, save your bloody bottle. Save the environment too.

Fluoride? There's more in one time of brushing your teeth than in drinking thousands of litres of water that's had flouridification.

Where is your proof? In safe levels (which all drinking water has) apart from very mild flourosis in very minimal cases, flouridificaiton of water has positive effects! I.e. for your teeth.

I can understand grabbing a bottle of water when out and about because you're a captive audience. I would, however, never buy the stuff from a bloody supermarket or online.

If you live in an area with chit water, though, buy a bloody Britta jug. The filters are always on offer. Also get a Britta kettle. It works out a lot cheaper in the long run.

Each to their own, though. I love my Yorkshire water! :A
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I missed this bit too. Unless you're drinking bloody glacial water, any water on the planet has probably been through thousands upon thousands of people! It's a closed loop system. The glacial water's been through hundreds of pre-iceage creatures too!

That is such a funny statistic. I love it. What's your source please? (of comedy, not water!).

WELL SAID! 24 more plastic bottles to mess up our environment - we can do without that when the water's on tap for you! We should all try a lot lot harder!

Why is buying water any different to buying alternative fizzy drinks? You don't seem to be getting het up about people who buy Coke & Sprite lol

Bottled water is just like any bottled drink - ie a convenient way to slake your thirst.

Surely water is better for you? And a better choice?

I agree with what you say (see we do agree mostly). The reason I don't get upset about people buying bottled coke or wine etc is because I don't have it coming out of a Tap (although I could fill a small reservoir with Turner's road).

If my tap produced coke I would only buy it in the instances I previously stated - i.e. when convenient. Ordering bottles off the internet or even buying them and taking them home is not convenient!

Yes water is better for you and a better choice. So fill your bottles up at home. I didn't say buying a Buxton from the newsagents when out and about was bad - I was pointing out that buying 24 bottles for home delivery was mad! Do you not see my point?

I'm not fussed one way or other but as my son won't drink tap water it's a bargain for me:)
