t mobile cancelling plan is a nightmare
Has anyone tried to end their t mobile contract. i have completed my 18 month contract, and rang them to terminate cos i am going onto giff gaff, talk about hard work. after a lenghtly phone call with the bloke trying to get me to go onto other plans. he finally agreed to process my plan cancellation( had to get a bit stroppy) i still cant see anything online that says it has been terminated. worried i am just going to keep being billed.what will happen if i use my phone after the end date will it cut off automatically?

Write them a letter confirming the phone call and send it recorded delivery. Keep a copy. You should get a final bill.

I think even after completing the contract you have to give them 1 month notice. In this case the contract will be terminated in a month. You'll need PAC to port your number to giffgaff.0

If they have cancelled the contract, you might have difficulty in getting the PAC. If you ask for the PAC, then remember to use it as asking for a PAC may overrule the cancellation and the contract will then run and run till you use it.
Also, keep the DD running till all charges have been taken, including late calls and texts. Far better to risk them taking an extra month than them getting a bounced DD and trashing your credit record.0
