I'm quite liking the whole phantombrake in the passenger footwell thing....it would really help when i'm being driven around by someone who drives a little too fast, or a little too close or brakes a little too late...because invariably i'm pressing an imaginary brake already!! (This can't just be me so own up!!) To actually have it workwould be brilliant!! lolGood Enough Club member number 27(2) AND I got me a stalkee!

The only car I've ever had no end of problems with was a Fiat funnily enough. My Morris Minor was more reliable than that
As a general rule French and Italian cars are built to a low standard, and are unreliable. This doesn't mean that all of them will break down, you may just be lucky.0 -

Ive got a french and i dont understand the hostility towards french cars, my cars a 206 and its 7 years old and still going strong, my mum has a 207 and its fine apart from a few things
maybe ive been lucky with mine, in fact i had a 106 before my 206 and again it was fine for what it was0 -

JUst because some makes or models of car are unreliable doesn't mean that they all are. It just means that there is a higher proportion of unreliability comared to others.
You say your mum's 207 has a few things wrong with it. How old is it?0 -
My parents had a old old Astra That had cable from the foot brake to the slave cylinder, The cable was used to convert from left to right hand drive. Cable snapped while on holiday in France.0
