The eye part is at the top of the cylinder. God, what if I've got it round the wrong way?

    Is it like this ?

If so, it is a reflector type telescope

When you look through it towards the sky (NOT THE SUN !!!) do you actually see daylight ... or is it still dark ?

I've just received great help here a minute ago to get my router working so I thought I'd chance it one more time.

I got myself a telescope for Christmas. I cannae see the sexy 20 year old neighbour who lives opposite out of it! I've tried everything and yes I have taken the lens cover off:D

It sits up in my room mocking me. Even when she was mooning recently I could see naff all. Anyone any good with them?

sorry, it was just too tempting to edit this post ;o)))))

WLM21, it's just like that picture you posted. I had the cylinder pointing to the wall so I do think it was round the wrong way.

The eye part isn't facing that direction though, it comes right out. I might need to start another thread on how to take pictures and download so I can show you :D. It's amazing how much I DON'T know actually. My son and husband think I'm a numpty. They're right but then they don't know how to do it either.

Diable, all I can see across the road from me is the human equivalent of the old cat hag off The Simpsons, and you don't want to see that magnified!!

My son's room has 3 other 13 year olds in it. Do I feel brave enough to show my stupidity to them. I might brave it
