I did but then he asked Ebay to get involved with it and they replied and said I was to return it for a refund at my cost. I'll prob post it via royal mail exactly how it was sent to me (with tracking) and see how he likes getting a box of glass shards back
It is right that you have to send back at your cost and trackable before they make judgement. What I dont get is how the seller instigated this - they have their money, they have sent the goods, the buyer normally raises the dispute as goods are not as described etc...0 -
I really think expecting you to send a box full of broken glass in the mail is ridiculous! No matter how well it is packed, somebody could easily get hurt.
Sorry op, no advice but I don't think posting it is a good idea (but appreciate you wish to have a refund)2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Its only chipped on a corner is'nt it?lots of posts about sending broken glass?Official MR B fan club, dont go............................0

I'd just send it back via the cheapest TRACKED method, as all you need is a tracking number saying that it has been delivered, or at least an attempted delivery.
Sounds like the seller is being awkward over this. How much did you pay, and how much to send it back?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

I also told him that since the damage was only to the top corner it could still be used by him as a backup but that I would not be willing to accept the goods as they arrived. He offered me a partial refund (50%) and to keep
