Why would a car be registered and then not move for 12 months?

it had a previous owner ...

I suppose i'd better give an update as well.... still no problems with the car running costs have gone up slightly for various reasons particularly driving a touch more...

If there is some criticism of it, so far the quality of the parcel shelf isn't that great...

Buying cars to save money, I still think it's very short sighted.

I'd rather spend less on a bigger more useful car, keep my money in my high interest account where it's not dead money and then spend a little more on fuel every month.

But that's just me, I guess I tend to look at the bigger picture.

Oh i had a bigger car, when you only transport a laptop, a few books and OH a few miles a day i'm not sure your looking at the "bigger" picture would work for me.... and i'm not sure you short sighted view is well explained or you understand all issues...
  • Would never buy one as it isn't my idea of enjoyable motoring, but as long as you're happy.
  • very cheap motoring, fuel efficient and low tax. this vehicle could save you around £700/800 a year in fuel, tax and insurance over a larger car doing around 12,000 miles a year.
plus you woud get a warranty for two years on a 1 year old car. plus the car was practicaly new if it had only done 9 miles so less chance of expensive repairs, clutch, etc. which can easily rack up to £600 on an oilder car.

Usually love these little cheap cars even if they are aesthetically challenged....However I had one of these as a courtesy car not so long ago and it was an absolutely horrid little thing. Horrible to drive (It was always going to be slow, but at least alot of small cars are fun at low speed), horrible to sit in as well as the challenging looks.

I'm glad it's provided you with cheap motoring OP but, in my opinion at least the C1/Aygo/107 trio offer a far, far better package than this for similar / the same price.

A Hyundai i10 or a Kia Picanto(?) would be a better choice. Much longer warranties as well.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.
