As an Amazon marketplace seller myself I know that a buyer can cancel their win within 7 days of purchase. Call Amazon, explain the situation and they are usually very good at assisting.

There should also be instructions on the site for how to cancel from a marketplace seller, so go and search for that.

I have e-mailed the seller three times but not had a reply, there is no telephone number to ring. It has not been despatched because it says delivery between 13th - 17 December. It was bought by mistake I thought it was the one from Amazon and before I knew it SOLD !

The delivery is an estimate provided by Amazon, it doesn't mean the seller has shipped it yet.

A quick search brings up this page with contact details.

What should I do if a buyer wants to cancel an order?

If contacted by a buyer who wants to cancel the order and you have not dispatched the item, you can refund the buyer in your Payments account. If you have already dispatched the item, you can have the buyer return the item to you. Find out more about refunding your buyer.

Can I refuse to accept returns?

No, all Amazon.co.uk sellers must accept returns as a part of doing business. Learn more about handling returns and refunds.

still, i'd expect them to post it back same way shipped (special delivery at £18.50) and carry the cost of the postage from the sellers end.

Not the sellers fault that the buyer changed their mind, so they should not be out of pocket.

I have bought a Wii for £649 from Amazon, I had 1-click set up and before I knew what had happended I paid £649 for it.

I have e-mailed the seller to cancel but not had a reply, I contacted my credit card company to stop the payment but they said they couldn't stop it

HOW DO I STOP THIS - PLEASE HELP

crikey how can you accidentally pay 649 pounds for an item - on amazon even if you use 1 click i thought it still asked you for security number for credit card each time and confirmation of delivery address!
