i've been with vm for 8 years.
i received a vm bill 2 months ago and it struck me that the price of my broadband connection was £25 when new users get it for around £11. i called the billings support number and was told that i was paying the full price but a discount should have been deducted bring the costs into line with a new customer rate. the support chap also said that the discount should have been in effect since the last upgrade (3 years before).
he said i had to write to vm. i did but got no response so i used the myvm email thing to contact billing. they just called and said:
'seeing as it's just been brought to our attention that we've overcharged you for all this time we can only refund you for the last 3 months'
'yes, but it was me that brought it to your attention'
'doesn't matter sir. we won't refund you'
any suggestions?

You could write to head office and tell them that VM staff have admitted that-they overcharged you for 3 years and unless you are refunded the full amount within, say 28 days, of the date on the top of the letter you will take county court action without further notice to them and claim all out of pocket expenses as well. Whatever you do don't enter into verbal communication with them, a way to make them think carefully about calling you is to put any verbal communication will be recorded and may be used as evidence at a later date Large company's don't like being recorded unless they are the ones doing it.Someone please tell me what money is0
